Inspection

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

Remove the lower crash pad switch (A) from the side crash pad
cover by using the scraper.

Disconnect the rheostat connector (A) from lower crash pad switch.

Operate the rheostat switch and check for continuity between terminals.
